WebThis route follows a section of the High Peak Trail between Middleton Top and Longcliffe. This trail is part of a longer route between Dowlow to High Peak Junction and used to be a railway. High Peak Railway was one of the first railways in the early 19th century and, after its closure in the late 60s, was turned into the trail for walkers and cyclists that it is today.
